So this morning at 10:30 we signed adoptive placement papers. This means our son is legally free for adoption and he is now in our home for the purpose of adoption. Not only that but we now have a finalization date where he will be completely legally our son. One week from today on 12/21/12 we will finalize his adoption and become his parents listed on his birth certificate. Funny that we will be listed as parents on a Puerto Rican birth certificate when we've never even visited Puerto Rico. :-)
